The Village Council for North Chevy Chase will be meeting virtually this Thursday, April 2 at 7 PM to address modifications to the 2020 Village elections in light of Governor Hogan’s emergency declaration on March 5 to control and prevent the spread of COVID-19 and his March 17 declaration extending the state of emergency. The Village Council will be considering 3 amendments to election provisions in the Village Charter, an elections ordinance, and emergency election procedures addressing absentee ballots, all prepared by the Village attorney.
The Council meeting will take place via zoom. Residents are requested to contact the Village Manager for details on how to join the meeting.
